Saturday, October 4, 2008Welcome to town, Granny GG! We all loaded up and drove about 45 minutes South of town to Clanton, AL to take Granny GG to the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch. We rode a big covered wagon hayride through the woods and out to the pumpkin patch to let the kids pick out their own big pumpkin for all to see later on our front porch. There were so many pumpkins to choose from, the kids ran from one end of the patch to the other end in search of the perfect pumpkin. After much deliberation, they decided on the one they would take home. So, we rode back to the main area, put the pumpkins in the car, and then let the kids run wild and play in the bounce houses. This was a neat patch to visit - Granny GG had a blast also.
