Old Baker Farm with Kaylee 10-19-09

I forgot to post this one sooner! When Mom and Grandma were in town last week, we went with Kaylee and her preschool to Old Baker Farm for a field trip. We saw lots of farm animals, took a hayride out to a real pumpkin patch (and we each got to pick out a pumpkin), and ate lunch in a hay loft. We had a really good time - and my allergies have been killing me ever since!!

Happy Birthday Kevin! 10-24-09

After working on the house projects all day, we took Kevin out for dinner (he picked Full Moon) and then presented him with a surprise birthday cake from Dairy Queen. We got him a cake that had a beach seen on the top complete with palm trees and a beach chair - so cute - and perfect for our Florida move that is soon to come! Happy birthday Kevin - we love you!

Papa and Clayton working on the house

October 24, 2009
Well, since we found out we are moving to Tampa, Florida, we had to hurry and finish a few last lingering projects around the house to be able to put it on the market. The local handymen are VERY expensive here so my sweet Dad drove up right away - Papa to the rescue! He showed Clayton how to use the saw to cut boards to replace the water damaged ones on our carport. Clayton is just like him - he loves to build!

Kaylee's 5th Birthday Party! 10-15-09

Happy #5 Birthday Kaylee Mae!!

Elise, Mamie, Kaylee, and Lauren

Dress up fun!

Grandma came...

Great Grandma came...

Mommy, of course!

And, my other favorite mother...Michelle!!

October 15, 2009
Kaylee wanted to have her best girl friends over for a make up/dress up party! It was fun! We bought lots of make up, mirrors, hair glitter, body glitter, nail polish, and so much more...the girl's just jumped right in and went to work making themselves even more beautiful than they already were...and a lot more sparkly!! After the girls were all made up, we pulled out the dress up clothes, tiaras, and high heels - watch out! These little princesses were ready for town! Beautiful girls! After all that fun, they each decorated their own cupcakes and then we sang to Kaylee and opened gifts. Kaylee really enjoyed the girly time with her best friends!

Air Force Pumpkin

Florida Gators Pumpkin

Alabama Pumpkin

Our Aggie Pumpkin

We painted our pumpkins this year instead of carving them! The kids picked their favorite teams and we went to work. I thought they turned out perfect!

Izzie and the Boys!

The kids love Izzie so much! I had to take a photo of Clayton and Izzie for a school project and Nicholas was quick to jump in too! How sweet are these boys and their dog? October 2009

Kaylee's Sunday Soccer 10-11-09

Kaylee is so amazing at soccer! She just gets right in there and takes that ball and scores! This game she had a little opposition from a little boy who also wanted the ball so he could score - so they took turns taking it from each other and scoring goals!

Clayton's Fall 2009 Soccer ~ October 2009

Clayton is playing soccer again this year and doing the best he ever has! His team has won all but one game this Fall season and just competed in a tournament (Birmingham Bash) and made it to the semi-finals before they were defeated by a really good traveling team. They held their own though and played great! He is number 20.

Tackle Flag Football Anyone? October 2009

Here is Nicholas' second flag football game - can you tell he is my rough child? He loves the opportunity to "tackle" someone to get a flag!

Clayton's First Tennis Match~ October 2, 2009

Clayton wanted to try tennis this year (you have to be in 4th grade to play for Mountain Brook), so we signed him up! A lot of it has been rained out with all the rain we have had, but he is still taking lessons to stay on top of it all. He has learned a lot and is having a good time.

Nicholas plays flag football on the light blue team for Mountain Brook this Fall 2009 season(when it is not raining, that is). So far, they have played 3 out of 10 games...the other 7 have been rained out and are trying to be made up, but it is still raining!! When he gets to play, he loves it!!

Happy birthday Kaylee! 5 years old!

Kaylee turned 5 on October 14, 2009! I can hardly believe my little girl is this big now! Seems like only yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. We told her she could pick anywhere she wanted to eat for dinner and she chose McDonald's! She wants a happy meal with chicken nuggets, fries, and a "girl" toy!
