Nicholas plays flag football on the light blue team for Mountain Brook this Fall 2009 season(when it is not raining, that is). So far, they have played 3 out of 10 games...the other 7 have been rained out and are trying to be made up, but it is still raining!! When he gets to play, he loves it!!

Happy birthday Kaylee! 5 years old!

Kaylee turned 5 on October 14, 2009! I can hardly believe my little girl is this big now! Seems like only yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. We told her she could pick anywhere she wanted to eat for dinner and she chose McDonald's! She wants a happy meal with chicken nuggets, fries, and a "girl" toy!

Kaylee plays for Birmingham United's Sunday Soccer program. They play for 4 Sundays with a 30 minute practice and a 30 minute game. It is easy and she loves it! She is on the red team. Kaylee is a great little soccer player - she gets in there and gets the ball from anyone then takes it down to the goal to score! She scored 4 goals during this game.

Clayton plays soccer for Birmingham United Soccer Association. He is number 20 again this year. The team lost by one point in the last minute of the game, but played really good! Clayton loves to play and is doing a great job out on the field!

Happy Birthday to Us!! Aug 30 & Sept 2

Happy Birthday to us! Mom's is on the 30th of August and mine is on the 2nd of September. Every year we get together to celebrate. This time around, my parents came to B'ham and we enjoyed a few days of eating out and celebrating. I even got us a Dairy Queen Butterfinger ice cream cake - yummy!

Kaylee Cuts Her Own Hair!!!!!

Kaylee was upstairs playing in the playroom and said, "I found some scissors and accidentally cut my hair." WHAT??!!?? I was not very happy at all! We had a long talk and immediately went to Paris Hair Salon to have it "fixed". This little Tinkerbell cut is what we ended up with. She does not like it all and has decided she wants it long again, so now, we will be waiting patiently...for a while...

Kaylee's First Day of Preschool ~ August 19, 2009

Kaylee's first day of 4 year old preschool at Brookwood Baptist Church. She has her same teacher as last year, which she is thrilled about! Ms. Katie even let her take her baby doll into class with her. This is Kaylee's last year before going to Kindergarten next year...boo-hoo!

Clayton and Nicholas' First Day of School ~ Aug. 18, 2009

August 18, 2009 ~ First day of school for Clayton and Nicholas. Clayton is now in 4th grade with Mrs. Waldrop as his teacher and gets his own locker for the first time ever! Nicholas is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Holt as his teacher. This year, Clayton will have his own MacBook laptop to keep in his classroom (provided by the school) and Nicholas will have a mini PC laptop to start learning keyboarding and to do powerpoint presentations. They are very excited about this!

First Day of Ballet/Tap Class ~ August 17, 2009

The boys were not in school yet, so they had to come with me to take Kaylee to her first class.

Kaylee is taking a class at The Dance Factory that is 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap. She LOVES it! She comes home showing off her moves all the time - especially the tap moves. The class runs all year long and in May, she will perform in a recital.
